Wout is Co-founder & CEO of Pleevi. Their smart charging scheduling engine leverages advanced AI forecasting and model predictive control to optimize complex requirements with unmatched precision. Their API-first go-to-market strategy focuses on rapid scalability through key partnerships with powerful energy management platforms.
With 10 years of experience in digital transformation, Wout has a proven track record as a product and engineering manager. His focus so far has been on IT integrations and ecosystems. Wout is also the founding chairman of API Community Belgium, a thriving professional network of over 1000 API enthusiasts. He holds a master’s degree in mechanical engineering from the University of Leuven.
Pleevi is a Belgian spin-off of VITO/Energyville and offers the first real smart charging solution, designed for businesses and parking managers that drastically lowers the cost of charging. We do so by planning charging sessions in time by AI powered algorithms. Our SaaS product combines more than 8 different requirements when calculating the perfect charging schedules for very complex sites for even very simple site topologies.
