The city of Amsterdam needs flexibility to reach their transition goals!
Hugo NiesingStudio
Amsterdam has ambitious goals to reduce the city’s CO2 emissions significantly. Clean and electric mobility, heating, solar energy are among the most growing factors. But this increases the pressure on the electricity grid, especially on peak hours. Peak demand ánd peak production require more infrastructure, but only at certain moments of the during certain époques of the year. This demands for enforcement of the grid, ánd better steering of the flexible demands. Hugo Niesing of the City of Amsterdam will showcase 2 projects in the City of Amsterdam: Flex-City and Flexpower3.
Amsterdam realises 2 European innovation projects and scales the Flexpower3 project now to 5.000 charging points with Equans and Liander the Dutch CPO.
