Energy Management Researcher
In the future, grid-intensive devices such as charging stations, heat pumps, solar panels and home batteries will have to take the energy grid into account. This will allow us to prevent grid congestion and include more renewable energy in our energy system. Wilco Wijbrandi is conducting research into the technology that makes this possible. He is an expert in the field of communication protocols (he is co-author of the S2 standard) and Home Energy Management System (HEMS) systems.
