Implementing Large Scale Smart Charging in the public charging structure, from cities perspective and EU perspective.

Various cities in The Netherlands are working with the upscaling of smart charging in order to alleviate the pressure on the grid.
The large DSO’s and the main CPO’s are working hard on this, however clear guidelines, standards and communication protocols are highly required.

The latest experiences are presented and discussed to share this, also in a European context and learn from other experiences.

  1. Bart Swens (Equans): Implementing Large Scale Smart Charging in the public charging structure upscaling from 120 to 6000 charging points in Amsterdam.
Costs and benefits (societal, financial, energetical etc.)
  2. Lennart (Krachtwerk) Standardisation needs and efforts DSO’s embedding into the Dutch National Agena for EV-charging infrastructure (NAL) and the Nationwide Actionplan Netcongestion (LAN).
