About Dirk Kaisers

Dirk Kaisers has deep experience in the renewable energy and energy storage sector - his 16 years in the industry includes roles with Schott Solar, Exide Technologies, and Skeleton Technologies.

As well as leading on the delivery of several high-profile projects in Europe and Africa, Dirk was working in the industry when the first solar photo-voltaic plants in Europe began commercial operations; when power purchase agreements were first introduced; and when microgrids started to be deployed in Africa. For him, energy storage and renewable energy sources go hand in hand, as both will be part of a new, smart, sustainable energy infrastructure.

Dirk holds a master’s engineering degree in Energy Management from The University of Applied Sciences in Bingen, Germany.
