At Philips and Versuni, he held senior global leadership roles, driving synergy and performance across the full value chain. He successfully launched and scaled multiple hardware/software businesses worldwide. Today, he applies this experience to accelerate the energy transition, aiming to create a sustainable and affordable energy system that benefits both current and future generations.
Currentt is a young innovative company on a mission to make energy smart, secure, sustainable, and affordable – for everyone. Winner of the Best Innovation Award 2025, Currentt developed the Navigator: a universal, easy-to-install, cloud-independent Local EMS that optimizes solar, EVs, heat pumps, batteries, and energy contracts in real time. Built in the Netherlands and designed for homes and SMEs. Currentt is a key partner in the ‘Warmteflex’ S2 project with TNO, Intergas and OpenTherm, developing an interoperable system where EMS, heat pumps and thermostats work truly together to optimize heating.
