Senior Energy Markets Manager
Jannik Carl is a Senior Energy Markets Manager at Kraken Labs, part of the Octopus Energy Group. He develops strategies to unlock the potential of flexible assets, both utility-scale and residential, across EMEA markets. With a deep understanding of national and European electricity market design, Jannik is passionate about seeking new and innovative ways to accelerate the energy transition. Prior to his role at Kraken, he spent four years at Aurora Energy Research, where he modelled the evolution of European electricity markets with a special focus on renewables, battery co-location and 24/7 Carbon-Free Electricity.
