R&D in Digital Energy Solutions
Diya Achi is an R&D Data Scientist in the Digital Energy Solutions team at CSEM in Switzerland. Over the past two years, she has worked on managing the flexibility of distributed energy resources for ancillary services in the power market and optimizing energy communities, with a focus on forecasting models. Additionally, she has worked on building simulation and timeseries anomaly detection for industrial applications.
Diya has a background in Mechanical Engineering with a focus on Energy from her bachelor’s and master’s degrees obtained at EPFL in Switzerland. Some of her past experiences include the development of a data-driven model to monitor the resources consumption of a chocolate factory, and a flow optimization study on a waste thermovalorisation plant producing electricity and connected to a district heating network.
CSEM is a Swiss technology innovation center that develops and transfers advanced technologies with high societal impact to industry. It works with leading partners and academia in precision manufacturing, digitalization, and sustainable energy. It has over 600 employees and six sites in Switzerland.
