Senior Researcher Grids and Markets
Anibal Sanjab received the M.S. and Ph.D. degrees in electrical engineering from Virginia Tech, VA, USA, in 2014 and 2018, respectively. He has been a Senior Researcher at the Flemish Institute for Technological Research (VITO) and EnergyVille, Belgium, since 2019, focusing on Power Grids and Energy Markets. His research experience and current interests focus on the design and modeling of electricity and flexibility markets, local energy management tools, renewable energy integration, flexibility procurement mechanisms, TSO-DSO coordination mechanisms, and general power systems operation, planning, control, and economics.
